Friday, Aug. 29
- 7:00 pm — Prayer Ceremony offered by Santalinga Marudhachala Adigalar to the 5 elements, 8 directions and 8 deities to ask permission from the land to do the homas on LOTUS grounds. Following will be the Friday Evening Homa including circumambulation of LOTUS. The homa will take place on a rented platform between the gift shop and Display Hall.
Saturday, Aug. 30
- 10:00 am — Light of Truth Universal Service and Program at SSH followed by a tribute by a senior devotee honoring Sri Gurudev’s interfaith vision and those involved in building or renovating LOTUS. Program concludes with a message by Santhalinga Marudhachala Adigalar.
Possible Optional Afternoon Activities: Stories of LOTUS in SSH; Darshan at Ananda Kutir; LOTUS open for visiting; possibly Tea with Santhalinga Marudhachala Adigalar and Ashram Leadership. - 7:00 pm — Saturday Evening Homa at LOTUS grounds
Sunday, Aug. 31
- 9:00 am — Sunday Morning Homa at LOTUS grounds
- 12:00 pm Noon
- After the homa, Santhalinga Marudhachala Adigalar blesses the altars in LOTUS upper sanctuary with sacred water.
- Khumbabhishekam water poured over LOTUS with sangha surrounding.
- Swamis and ministers bless altars and offer petals; then bless AFH with water and petals.
- Remaining sangha enters via glass door, offers petals, circumambulates central altar, then exits.
Possible Optional Afternoon Activities: Interfaith group dances in IYA Samadhi or on the Quad; Darshan at Ananda Kutir; LOTUS open for visiting.
- 7:30 pm — LOTUS Renewal: Glory to the Light Closing Program with chanting, interfaith musical and dance offerings, video clips of past services, etc.
