Swami Vidyananda, a revered spiritual teacher from South Africa has lived at Ananda Kutir Ashrama since 1999. With a deep-rooted understanding of Yoga and Vedanta, Swami Vidyananda has devoted his life to guiding others on the path of self-discovery and spiritual evolution. Ananda Kutir Ashrama was established by Mother Yogeshwari and Swami Parvathiananda, disciples of Swami Venkatesananda. Swami Venkatesananda was a foremost disciple of Swami Sivananda and close friend of Swami Satchidananda. Swami Vidyananda teaches Raja Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Integral Hatha Yoga. Swami Vidyananda has spoken at Sivanandashram, Rishikesh and at Ananda Kutir Ashrama.
