Lopamudra Bose
Lopamudra Bose was born and raised in Kolkata, India. The spiritual culture of her homeland and her family’s heritage of the worship of Divine Mother Kali have always been the cornerstone of her life. She moved to San Diego, CA as a young adult where she attended and served at the local SRF temples and received her initiation in the Kriya Yoga path of Paramahansa Yogananda. After raising her two children, she followed her heart and her love of languages led her to focus on translation, research and the ancient way of chanting sacred texts. Living in the United States for most of her adult life has given her the unique privilege of bridging these two cultures. She continues teaching Sanskrit chanting and ritual worship to sincere souls, and offers daily puja to Ma Kali in her home where devotees come to worship freely.
