Roy Rodriguez, E-RYT 200, graduated from the LYT program in August of 2018 and went on to serve the Ashram as a Farm Yogi for the year. At the end of his year, he decided he was ready to take the Basic Teacher Training which he successfully graduated in November. In his previous life, Roy was a production assistant and script supervisor in advertising, and he managed medical software for corporations. His passions include spending time with his nieces and nephew, surfing, studying Hatha and Yin Yoga, learning new things, and the practices of healing and introspection. Staying at Satchidananda Ashram after the LYT program was initially a temporary plan and today he is employed as an Audio Visual Technician for Shakticom helping to facilitate Satsangs and speaker presentations while also teaching weekly Hatha classes.
