Program Description

For Yoga teachers and health professionals

In this previously recorded self-paced workshop, learn the mechanics’ principles of different joints in the body, and how they each work. Experience the Yoga poses that relieve suffering and liberate the joints to move more freely with less discomfort. With increased movement in the joints, every activity will improve mobility further.

Arthritis disables more Americans than any other condition, and there are millions of people who are not formally disabled but yearn for the freedom, mobility, and reduced pain that Yoga can provide.

In addition to expanding the ranges of movement, Yoga also releases hormone-like substances that are powerful anti-inflammatories. These substances often lower the risk of cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and swelling in the body.

The hallmark of arthritis is a limited range of motion. If Yoga does anything, it stretches. Therefore arthritis and Yoga were made for each other.

You will have access to:

  • Four recorded sessions with Dr. Loren Fishman and assistant Liz Larson
  • Two Hatha Yoga videos
  • Two meditation videos
  • Two inspirational talk videos by Sri Swami Satchidananda
